The Big Canopy Campout is a global event bringing people into the trees to raise awareness and funds for global forests.

During the event, we will be camping in and amongst the trees, occupying the canopies of these incredible, threatened forests in conjunction with people around the globe. We will be sharing stories, images and videos via social media as we experience the wonder and beauty of our incredible forests in takayna.

There will be tagged walks, a chance to chat with our campaigners, climbing workshops for all abilities, a warm roaring fire and hot food and tea.

Everyone is welcome

Even if you’re not a climber, never climbed or never considered climbing, or if you’ve spent more time in trees or on the end of a rope than on the ground, we’d love you to come along.

All are welcome! These are your forests.
